Zara customers find upsetting notes hidden in garments

Customers at Zara Istanbul found notes from unpaid workers who urged them to pressurise Zara into paying the employers their dues. The brand has earlier been accused of slave labour as well. from unpaid labourers in Turkey.

Recently, in a shocking revelation, shoppers at Zara, Istanbul found notes from unpaid workers hidden in garments, revealing the miserable condition of the labourers, one of the notes read, “I made this item you are going to buy, but I didn’t get paid for it”. The notes urged shoppers to campaign and pressure Zara into paying them
It also came to light that the employers were hired at the Bravo Tekstil factory in Turkey, which closed down overnight.
