Mohanlal considers #MeToo as a Fad and not a movement.

Malyalam superstar Mohanlal is of the opinion that the #MeToo is more of a Fad and not a movement. “There is no big problem in the Malayalam industry. You shouldn’t think of the #MeToo as a movement actually. It is a fad and it is turning into something of a fashion. Anything like that will have a lifespan for a bit,” said the actor.

Mohanlal was in UAE to launch his charity fundraiser Onnanu Nammal. The Gulf News questioned him more on the #MeToo movement to which Mohanlal refused to answer.

He also further said that even men will have #MeToo stories to recount.  He also further said that only those who have experienced harassment are eligible to speak about this.
