Dia Mirza And Vaibhav Rekhi Welcome Their Baby Boy Avyaan Azaad Rekhi

Dia Mirza and Vaibhav Rekhi announced that they tied the knot in what was one of the most beautiful and intimate wedding ceremonies in February this year. The couple then announced in April that they are expecting their first baby with a beautiful post from their honeymoon in Maldives. 

Today, Dia took to social media to announce the arrival of her baby boy, Avyaan Azaad Rekhi with a picture of the newborn’s hand and a note on her experience of childbirth. Dia shared that she faced complications while giving birth and had to opt for a C-section as the baby came earlier than the due date. She shared, “Our heartbeat, our son Avyaan Azaad Rekhi was born on May 14th. Having arrived early, our little miracle has since then been cared for by tireless nurses and doctors in the Neonatal ICU.” 

She further added, “A sudden appendectomy during my pregnancy and a subsequent and very severe bacterial infection could have led to sepsis and proven to be life threatening. Thankfully, the timely care and intervention by our doctor ensured the safe birth of our baby via an emergency C-section.” 

The baby is now being taken care of in the hospital under observation and Dia, along with Vaibhav and his daughter Samaira look forward to having Avyaan home soon. We wish the baby and the family a happy and healthy life ahead.
