Aamir Khan reportedly shelves his dream project Mahabharata

Even a speculation of what Aamir Khan is going to do next creates an uproar. There has been talk for a long time that Aamir Khan is keen to make Mahabharata as a web series and will manage the show.

However now according to reports on an online portal, we hear that the actor has shelved the project. Yes, as of now Aamir Khan has decided not to go ahead with the webseries. And the reason is not just the budget, he feels that he can’t give two years right now to a show. The superstar always makes calculative decisions and even when he decides to shut down a project, it has always been a right call. Aamir Khan also needs to announce his involvement in a star studded new film by a big director and hence he has decided to put the mytho-drama on the back burner for some time.

Aamir Khan currently has Laal Singh Chaddha in his hands, which will release in December this year. The film is a remake of Forrest Gump and also stars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan in cameo roles. Though the three Khans’ won’t share screen space together, this will be the first time that the three will be present in one film. Laal Singh Chaddha also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan.
