Aquaman becomes the highest grossing DC film

Aquaman has managed to beat The Dark Night Rises and become the highest grossing DC film ever.

The James Wan directed film Aquaman has earned a whooping 1.090 billion dollars at the box office. The box office collection of The Dark Night Rises was ended at 1.084 billion dollars.

Aquaman stars Jason Mamoa in the lead role. This was set in DCEU (DC Extended Universe) and was the biggest film in the universe, beating Superman and Batman.

Aquaman was released on 14th December. Aquaman is about hybrid Atlantean/human superhero Arthur Curry/Aquaman who is caught in the conflict between the undersea world of Atlantis and the surface world. Aquaman is the only film after wonder woman to be a DCEU film.
