Kartik Aaryan to Star in this South Remake that Originally starred Allu Arjun

Kartik Aaryan is currently in the news for his hit YouTube series Koki Poochega. The actor has been entertaining his fans amidst lockdown, besides giving important messages with his series. Despite the lockdown, the actor has managed to bag a big film which he will start working on  after  things become normal. 

We hear Kartik has been roped in for the remake of the Telugu hit film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. The film, which   released at the beginning of the year, stars Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde. It’s a blockbuster and is also the most watched movie online. We also hear that Allu Arjun and S Radha Krishna will produce the Hindi remake. 

According to reports, the script is in place and they’ve  got a director on board. Rohit Dhawan, who has directed movies like Desi Boyz and Dishoom will helm this one. The makers wanted to make this film  with a young Gen-Y star, hence they chose Karthik Aaryan.  

The reports also suggest that the film has been narrated to Aaryan over a video call and he has shown interest in the project.  The actor however  has three big projects – Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Dostana 2 and Om Raut’s untitled 3D action film –on his plate.  He will first allot his dates to these films and then pay attention to this South indian remake.
