Alia Bhatt’s mother Soni Razdan pens down a note about second wave of COVID-19

Just when we were hoping that this year would be normal and things would finally fall back in place, the second wave of COVID-19 has hit the country and our city has the maximum number of cases. Alia Bhatt has been tested COVID-19 positive this week and her mother Soni Razdan has taken to social media to talk about something important.

The veteran actress has penned down her thoughts on the second wave of COVID-19 on social media and she states that the virus has started to scare her. She said, “This is no ordinary wave …it’s everywhere. In our houses, in our hair. I’m getting a bit of a scare. It’s no ordinary wave.. it’s everywhere … don’t know how we shall fare .. how do we begin to care… about so many here and there… it’s everywhere, it’s everywhere.”  Well, the actress does have a point, with the spike in the cases and things getting critical again, it surely doesn’t look like an ordinary wave and people are surely scared about another lockdown phase this year too.

Alia Bhatt was shooting for Gangubai Kathiawadi when she got her results for COVID-19 positive. The actress immediately left the shoot and got herself isolated and home quarantined. The shoot for her next will now be stalled for two weeks. Alia Bhatt also has post-production work left on Brahmastra which is her first film with beau Ranbir Kapoor. Few weeks back her beau Ranbir Kapoor had tested COVID-19 positive and couldn’t even make it to her birthday bash.
