Sushmita Sen wins a National Award for Social Welfare and Women Empowerment

Sushmita Sen is one of the finest actresses that Bollywood has and more than that, she is a woman of steel. The actress cum social worker has never shied away from her responsibility of spreading awareness about women related issues in our society. She has always spoken at length about how things can get better and has also done a lot for the women who she has worked with. The actress feels strongly about the cause and today she got recognized by the government for it again. 

She won a National Award –  the Champions of Change for Social welfare and women empowerment. Sushmita took to Instagram to reveal the same and did a live session with her followers where she even showed the award. We congratulate the actress on her big win!
