Alaya F to star in the Hindi remake of Kannada film U Turn

In 2020 Alaya F made her debut with Jawaani Jaaneman, before the actress could announce her next and show us some more of acting mettle, the pandemic and the lockdown changed the course in everyone’s life. Today we learned that Alaya F has bagged a biggie and she is ready to shoot it from tomorrow.

According to reports on an online portal, Alaya F will star in the Hindi remake of Kannada film U Turn. The film is known as a gritty thriller which keeps you on the edge of your seat with its nail-biting drama. The Hindi remake rights have been bought by Ekta Kapoor. The portal reveals that debutante director Arif will helm the film.

Talking about the project Alaya said that she found this opportunity really exciting to collaborate with Ekta Kapoor and be a part of this interesting topic. She feels responsible that she’s already been given a task to headline this thriller drama for Hindi audiences. Ekta Kapoor too is confident about her young lead actress and says Alaya has a self-assured yet vulnerable quality in her that will help her connect with the audience.

U Turn has been remade in Bengali, Tamil, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu already. The film has surprised the audience with its content with every avatar and one hopes the Hindi version too will retain the magic.
