Anushka Sharma shares a heart-touching poem on the beauty of motherhood

Anushka Sharma was blessed with her daughter Vamika on January 11, 2021. Fans were as elated as her as she shared this wonderful news with her fans and loved ones. Since then, there have been various instances on social media, when Anushka has expressed her gratitude and love for her beloved daughter. Embracing motherhood has been one of the most fulfilling journeys for her till now and she has been expressive of her feelings.

Recently, pondering over the beauty of motherhood and what a  blessing it is, she shared a heart-touching poem on her Instagram handle.

The poem read – “Dear Child, I spend so much time trying to figure out how to be the best mother to you. I know I won’t always get it right. But what I can promise, Is that no matter what. I’ll meet you where you are. Not where I want you to be. Not where I think you should be. Not where you will be. But right where you are, at this very moment”.

It was indeed thought-provoking and penned down in a manner that would truly make every mother reflect on the blessing that is motherhood.

On the work front, Anushka Sharma will next be seen in Chakda Xpress where she plays the role of cricketer par excellence – Jhulan Goswami. This marks Anushka’s comeback on the silver screen after 3 years.
