Religious ceremonies for the Ayodhya Ram Mandir’s ‘Pran Pratistha’ event commence today.

The last countdown to the big day has started. Preparations are underway for the historic consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, which is slated for January 22. And, starting today (16 January), a series of pre-pran pratishtha rites have commenced.

These procedures will continue until January 22, when the temple will be formally opened in front of nearly 7,000 people from throughout the country. This includes Prime Minister Narendra Modi, celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan and Alia Bhatt, and athletes like Virat Kohli, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, and Sachin Tendulkar.

The temple trust announced on Monday that all of the golden doors of the ‘Garbhgriha of Bhagwan Shri Ramlalla Sarkar’ had been installed. Notably, the Ram Lalla sculpture created by Mysuru-based artist Arun Yogiraj has been chosen for installation at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
