Ranbir Kapoor broke his silence on the upcoming wedding with Alia Bhatt

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have been the talk of the town, as their April wedding rumours spread like wildfire. One of the most awaited weddings of the Bollywood fraternity, Ranbir-Alia have been a fan favourite ever since they started dating in 2018. Previously in an interview with a leading journalist, the actor opened up about how he wanted to tick-mark the marriage goal very soon in his life.

The couple was recently in Varanasi, shooting the last schedule of their upcoming film Brahmastra. Ranbir is currently caught up with the promotions of Sharmaji Namkeen, which is his late father Rishi Kapoor’s last film. While in an interview with a leading publication, the actor said, “I won’t give out a date during a media interaction. But Alia and I have all the intentions of getting married soon, so yes, hopefully soon.” Fans speculate that they could be getting married as early as April this year.

To get more clarity on the rumours, media reached out to Ranbir’s aunt Rima Jain. When asked about the alleged April wedding, Jain responded “Nothing that I know of as yet. They will get married but I don’t know when. They will decide and then suddenly you’ll all get to know.

Alia has been having a successful year, with the release of box-office hit Gangubai Kathiawadi and RRR. She will also be seen in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Darlings, and in Jee Le Zara. Ranbir and Alia will be co-starring in Brahmastra which is scheduled to release on 9th September 2022. Ranbir will also be starring in Shamshera, Animal, and Luv Ranjan’s untitled next.
