The team of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani delighted fans on Monday by sharing a delightful behind-the-scenes video captured on the sets. The video features a star-studded cast, including Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Shabana Azmi, and others, along with the film’s director Karan Johar, showcasing his playful side during the filming process. The highlight of the video undoubtedly revolves around Jaya Bachchan, who unveils her rare and goofy persona, adding to the cheerful atmosphere. The video kicks off with glimpses of the actors breaking into laughter while shooting. Karan Johar himself is seen playfully singing Disco Deewane with a unique twist. Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh join the fun by dancing and goofing around, even causing Alia to burst into laughter during a supposedly intense argument scene.

Subsequent scenes feature multiple instances where nearly all the actors sheepishly admit, “Sorry, I forgot my lines,” during various takes. Even Jaya Bachchan is seen grappling with her lines, exclaiming, “Why do I get stuck here?” From Alia to Ranveer Singh to Shabana and Tota Roy Chowdhury, everyone playfully rambles between their dialogues. Towards the end, during the Dhindhora scene, Jaya poses dramatically but adds an unexpected twist by breaking into goofy expressions and even winking at the camera, earning the label of ‘cute’ from someone behind the scenes.

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani marks Karan’s directorial return after a seven-year gap. The film reunites Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt on screen. Alongside Shabana Azmi’s portrayal of Alia as Rani’s grandmother, Dharmendra and Jaya Bachchan depict Ranveer’s grandparents in the roles of Rocky. The movie revolves around the cultural clash that ensues when Rani, an educated and liberal Bengali journalist, falls for Rocky, a fitness enthusiast hailing from a traditional Punjabi family in Delhi. The film was released on July 28.
