He also praised the effects in the recently released film Brahmastra, and promised that the upcoming&nbsp;<strong>Krrish 4<\/strong>, directed by him, will \u2018have a lot of special effects\u2019 as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He told The Times of India that the movie will have to compete with international standards, so they have to put their best foot forward. The director previously helmed the lavish Krrish 3, starring his son\u00a0Hrithik Roshan\u00a0as perhaps the most popular homegrown superhero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rakesh Roshan said that Brahmastra\u2019s visual effects were \u2018terrific\u2019. He said that the only difference between the visual effects in Indian and Western films is that \u2018Hollywood has more experience\u2019. He added, \u201cThey have been using VFX for so many years. So their way of working, understanding is faster and so is their visualisation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One can\u2019t finish a VFX-heavy movie in three months, the director said, noting that visual effects is a \u2018costly affair\u2019, and that the \u2018young generation\u2019 of viewers is more than familiar with high-quality VFX films from Hollywood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Krrish 4 is still in the pre-production stage, but both Rakesh and Hrithik have said that they\u2019re working to present the best version possible.
