The fire department successfully brought the blaze under control within an hour of the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fire originated on the second floor of the main building, specifically in the endoscopy room. All patients in the affected area were safely evacuated from the premises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Delhi Fire Services received a fire call from AIIMS at 11:54 am, and they immediately dispatched 8 fire tenders to combat the fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of now, the fire is under control, and search operations are ongoing, according to the DFS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visuals from the hospital premises showed the successful evacuation of patients to safer locations during the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AIIMS, located at Sri Aurobindo Marg in Delhi&#8217;s Ansari Nagar East, is a renowned public medical research university and hospital, serving as one of the country&#8217;s most prominent government healthcare facilities.
