\u201cIf you want to be in formal wear, we\u2019d love that, but equally if you\u2019re\nin the UK and it\u2019s 3am, perhaps you want to be in designer pajamas and record\nfrom your bed!,\u201d the letter added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The letter gave no details about the format of the show which is usually\nbroadcast live in front of an audience of A-list stars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
ABC television, which will broadcast the show, said on Wednesday that\nproducers had reached out to nominees and that plans were still being worked\nout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The letter followed Tuesday\u2019s Emmy nominations, which were led by\n\u201cWatchmen\u201d, comedy \u201cThe Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,\u201d crime drama \u201cOzark\u201d and\n\u201cSuccession.\u201d Many of the nominees are British actors, directors or writers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
