Chris Hemsworth will be seen in a 2021\nspecial for National Geographic titled Shark Beach. The Thor actor will dive\nwith different shark species as part of the show, reported The Hollywood\nReporter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The programme is aimed at increasing the\nawareness around marine conservation and will feature Hemsworth in conversation\nwith marine biologists, surfers, conservationists and shark advocates in his\nnative country Australia. The programme aims to encourage the co-existence of\nhumans and sharks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chris Hemsworth said, \u201cI\u2019ve spent a great\ndeal of my life near or in the ocean, sharing the same backyard with sharks,\nand recently there\u2019s been some growing concern regarding an increase in shark\nactivity. It\u2019s crucial that we both revere and respect sharks. Our oceans\ndepend on these apex predators for a biodiverse ecosystem; however, we must also\nlearn how to protect ourselves, and that\u2019s my main objective in Shark Beach.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
