The pre-orders of the book have already begun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Priyanka took to Instagram to unveil the book cover and described her process of writing in a series of posts. Chopra shared that penning Unfinished required unpacking a lot of her past, including things she thought she had made peace with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe funny thing about writing a memoir is that it forces you to look at things differently, reconciling so many things you thought you had put to bed. In doing so I\u2019ve realized that being \u201cunfinished\u201d has deeper meaning for me, and has in fact been one of the most common threads of my life\u2026,\u201d the Sky is the Pink star wrote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CF14L-Ynoy6\/embed\/captioned\/?cr=1&amp;v=12&amp;wp=500&amp;rd=https%3A%2F%2Findianexpress.com&amp;rp=%2Farticle%2Fentertainment%2Fbollywood%2Fpriyanka-chopra-jonas-memoir-unfinished-to-release-in-january-2021-6678565%2F#%7B%22ci%22%3A0%2C%22os%22%3A3447.2700000042096%7D\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" height=\"1097\"><\/iframe><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Priyanka further shared how since a young age she learnt to have conviction in her choices, which helped her later in life to move on from \u201cunfinished things\u201d without any guilt<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMy parents taught me at a very young age to have courage of conviction, and I\u2019ve never been ambivalent about this. I have always been guided by my curiosity, drive for challenge, and intrinsic need to constantly evolve and move forward. I have taken many leaps of faith, often times when I was advised not to\u2026and even when I too was afraid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSome risks paid off, some didn\u2019t, but what I learned during this process is that I have never shied away from change, or forced guilt on myself for leaving something unfinished if that\u2019s what my evolution as an individual required\u2026,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the third post, the actor wrote she hoped that her life would inspire her readers to unapologetically own their choices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhile you\u2019ll definitely learn about how I became me during the \u201cin between\u201d of what you haven\u2019t seen, I also hope you\u2019ll walk away with the confidence of knowing that IT\u2019S OK to pick up, walk away, leave things unfinished, and move on to what\u2019s next if that\u2019s what your journey requires to get to the next destination.
