Bhumi Pednekar condemns violence against doctors and frontline workers

India has been dealing with the pandemic for over a year The people who have been leading the cause of battling the virus since day one are doctors and frontline workers who have been working relentlessly for months. However, with the cases of violence towards them suddenly rising several people have come out to support them and call out those who are spreading hate.

Bhumi Pednekar, who herself has been doing a lot to help the people during the pandemic by bringing COVID-19 relief wrote on Twitter, “Violence towards our doctors and frontline workers is completely unacceptable and quite appalling. Our medical sector has been working tirelessly over the last 14 months, the least we can do is show our support, gratitude & compassion towards them. #stopviolenceagainstdoctors.”
