During a recent interview, Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor opened up about his experience working with Hollywood star Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol. Anil revealed that in the past, some people from the Bollywood industry made snide remarks about Tom Cruise, but their perception of him has changed over time. Anil and Tom collaborated on the film, which was released in 2011 and is the fourth installment in the Mission: Impossible series.

Expressing his admiration for Hollywood films, Anil mentioned how he looks forward to movies by director Christopher Nolan and Tom Cruise’s action-packed performances. Despite initial doubts expressed by his colleagues about Tom, Anil maintained his belief in the Hollywood star’s talent. He shared how his friends from the industry were initially hesitant about exploring international projects, but later he discovered that many of them secretly worked on projects in Los Angeles, streaming platforms like Netflix and Amazon.

In addition to his love for Hollywood films, Anil also expressed excitement about his recent appearance in The Night Manager part two, where he reprised his role as the dangerous arms dealer, Shailendra Rungta. The series is a remake of the 2016 British television series, based on John Le Carre’s novel, and features actors like Aditya Roy Kapur, Sobhita Dhulipala, Tillotama Shome, Ravi Behl, and Saswata Chatterjee.
