The preparations for the opening of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya started on January 16. The major event will take place at the big temple on January 22.

Gujarat: Stones thrown during Ram’shobha yatra’ in Mehsana; police fire teargas, gather up 15 people

Police fired tear gas shells after stones were thrown at a “shobha yatra” (procession) of Lord Ram in Gujarat’s Mehsana district on Sunday, according to an official. The incident occurred in Kheralu town on the eve of the idol dedication of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, and three teargas shells were fired to contain the situation, Inspector General of Police Virendrasingh Yadav confirmed.
